Biography

Ashley Mager received her Master’s in Public Health in May 2022 from Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI. Mager completed two years of service for Mothers on the Rise, a program a part of the Grassroots Maternal and Child Health Initiative, through AmeriCorps. She currently works as a Program Management Specialist for Mothers on the Rise and is a co-author of a publication in the Advancing Corrections Journal. Through her professional experience, Ms. Mager's interest in addressing maternal and child health inequities has only grown.

Research Interests

• Program development to improve birth outcomes and foster empowerment in justice-involved populations.
