The Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management program at the Fairbanks School of Public Health offers several scholarships for HSM majors. To be eligible, students must complete the application according to the guidelines below. Submissions with incomplete information will not be considered.
Scholarships for Health Services Management Majors
Health Services Management Incoming Freshman Scholarship
$1,000 per year for two years
The Health Services Management Incoming Freshman Scholarship was established in 2018 to support direct admit freshmen to the Fairbanks School of Public Health who have demonstrated academic excellence and plan to pursue a major in Health Services Management. This scholarship will award $1,000 per year for the first two years of their studies. The scholarship will automatically be renewed for the second year provided the student maintains full-time enrollment status as a Health Services Management major and maintains a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Incoming direct admit freshman at the Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI
- Enrolled full-time
- Actively pursuing a declared undergraduate major in Health Services Management
- Achieved a high school GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale

Internship in Health Services Management Scholarship
Fall: $500 Spring: $500 Summer: $500
This internship award will off-set costs during the semester when the student is enrolled in their internship for academic credit. Two awards are made each semester to full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management (BSHSM) program at the Fairbanks School of Public Health. Preference will be given to students who are able to demonstrate financial need. The scholarship can only be awarded for the semester in which the student is enrolled in the credit-bearing internship course, PBHL-H380.
- Have secured an approved internship in the health services management field
- Junior or senior standing
- Demonstrated financial need

Health Services Management Sophomore Scholarship
One-time award of $500-$1,000
The Health Services Management Sophomore Scholarship was established in 2018 to support Sophomore students majoring in Health Services Management. Special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including, but not limited to, financially challenged or first-generation students.
Students who have been awarded the Health Services Management Direct Admit Scholarship are not eligible for this award.
- Continuous full-time enrollment
- Declared or admitted Health Services Management major
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Sophomore standing
