The purpose of the Alumni Board is:
- Promote a sense of identification among its members and to encourage cohesiveness with the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health Alumni Association.
- Provide a medium of communication among alumni and students of the Programs.
- Support future growth of the Programs and to provide input to help ensure the Programs remain relevant in the changing health system.
- Assist in the placement and professional growth of fellow alumni.
The board of directors is made of five to 15 alumni, which includes four officers (a Chair, Secretary/Treasurer, past Chairs, and an IUAA Executive Council Representative). Term lengths for directors are three years in length. Term lengths for elected officers and immediate past chairs are two years in length; the term length for the IUAA Executive Council Representative is three years.
