Meet John Seeger, PharmD, DrPH
Join us for this interesting talk by John D. Seeger, PharmD, DrPH, president of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE). He received his PharmD from the University of Arizona and his DrPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Seeger is a pharmacoepidemiologist at the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and has broad experience that encompasses both clinical pharmacy and epidemiologic foundations of the discipline. He is an internationally recognized thought leader in the eld of pharmacoepidemiology. He has conducted a number of real-world drug safety and comparative eectiveness studies. The focus of his research work has been on methods for pharmacoepidemiology research and he has applied these methods to a wide range of medications and disease conditions. Dr. Seeger leads a propensity score course at Harvard School of Public Health and three other courses at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science (MCPHS).
