IUPUI Top 100 Student Recognition Awards Now Accepting Nominations
Nominations are currently being accepted for the IUPUI Top 100 Student Recognition Awards. Applications and Letters of Recommendation are due by January 17, 2018. Nominators only need the students network ID (first part of their IU email address) to submit a nomination, students fill out all of the required paperwork.
Students may also self-nominate. Eligible students are juniors and seniors seeking their first bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 who have completed a minimum 5 semesters (on any university campus) and 56 credit hours applicable to her/his degree program; 25 or more of those hours must have been completed at the Indianapolis campus as of the Fall 17 semester.
The categories for this award are:
Scholastic Achievement - up to five activities that include any of the following:
- Scholastic Honors Programs and Honor Societies
Collegiate and Co-Curricular Activities - up to five activities that include any of the following:
- Experiential Learning
- International Experience
- Student Involvement
Service Learning/Volunteer Activities - up to five activities that include any of the following:
- Community Service Leadership
- Service Learning
- Volunteer Activities
December 2017 graduates are NOT eligible and students can only receive this award twice, typically once as a junior and once as a senior.
The IUPUI Top 100 program began in 2000 as an opportunity to recognize the Top 100 junior and senior students at IUPUI. In 2017, over 2,000 students were nominated for this award. A committee comprised of faculty, staff and alumni select the Top 100 and then the “Top 10” and ultimately the “Most Outstanding” student.
The Top 100 Outstanding Students will be honored at a Recognition Dinner on April 13, 2018 at the Indianapolis Marriott. For more information or to nominate a student, visit the Top 100 site below.
