The Center for Public Health Practice Grows
Please join us in congratulating Andrea Janota, MPH, in her new position as the program coordinator for the ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) Initiative in the CPHP. Andrea was previously the program coordinator for the CPHP where she coordinated the Public Health Corps, Insights and Innovations, HPV ECHO, and other projects. In her new position, she will manage the day-to-day operations of the ECHO initiative as well as assist in identifying and developing new ECHO clinics.
Also, please welcome the CPHP's new interns, Christina Yohanan and Beth Brouwer, who will assist with the planning and implementation of the 2018 Indiana Public Health Conference: Saving Lives and Communities: Reducing Harm, Stigma, Overdoses, and Death. Christina is a graduate student in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department. Along with interning with the CPHP, she is a graduate assistant for social justice education in the Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at IUPUI. Beth is an undergraduate student interested in public health and healthcare delivery. Previously, she was a tutor for healthcare accounting at the Bepko Learning Center and a dietary aide at Trilogy Health Services, LLC.
