Health Services Management Students Visit Several Healthcare Organizations
Several Health Services Management majors were hosted at three different organizations this month for site visits. They had an opportunity to see what working in each of the health care settings is like, and had a chance to learn about each site's work environment and work culture. At Community Launchpad students were hosted by Braylon Hancock, a 2015 MHA alumnus. At IU Health Revenue Cycle Services, students were hosted by John Newton, a 2016 MHA alumnus. And at Hoosier Village, students were hosted by Laura Burton, a longtime friend of the program. Many thanks to all who participated!
FSPH Alumni Breakfast at Eli Lilly a Success
An FSPH Alumni Breakfast was hosted for the first time earlier this month at Eli Lilly and Company. The event was hosted by FSPH National Advisory Council member, Dr. Tim Garrett, and was a chance for Eli Lilly colleagues to meet and mingle with each other. Many alumni said they were surprised at how many of their colleagues had gone through an FSPH program. Thank you to Dr. Garrett and all those who helped make this event a success. FSPH hopes to host more events like these at Eli Lilly and other employers with large representation of FSPH graduates.
