Dr. Babich to Speak in European Encounters Virtual Meetup Series
European Encounters is a virtual meetup series between IU faculty and colleagues in Europe, organized by the IU Europe Gateway. On March 23 at 11am, Dr. Suzanne Babichof Fairbanks and Stjepan Oreskovic from the University of Zagreb's School of Medicine will try to reconcile Science, Truth, and Politics in the interest of the public’s health and the future of our planet, especially in the time of the current pandemic.
IUPUI TRIP's Scholar of the Month Conversation Series Continues
On Friday, March 26 from noon-1pm, join the IUPUI Center for Translating Research Into Practice as they continue their Scholar of the Month Conversation Series. Dr. Peggy Stockdale, a professor of psychology at IUPUI will discuss “When 'good people' harass. Why they do it and why we let them.”

During this highly interactive webinar co-sponsored by the Fairbanks School of Public Health, you’ll be encouraged to share topic areas that are most relevant and timely for your practice to inspire future discussions. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in a robust Q&A session directly with the panel.
Attend the Virtual Sun and Water Conference
IUPUI students and faculty are invited to attend the virtual Sun and Water Conference from April 17-18, and the $20 registration fee would be waived. Hosted by Companion Community Development Alternatives and the Rotary Club of Danville, IN, the conference will feature workshops on the advantages and best practices in solar powered water systems, a panel discussion with Central American community leaders, and more.

Fairbanks Celebrates Top 100 Students

Each year, IUPUI honors 50 graduate and professional students who demonstrate excellence beyond the classroom in areas such as campus leadership, scholarly work, and community engagement. Congratulations to Emily Muller, an MHA/MPH student at Fairbanks on being recognized as an Elite 50 Awardee. Recipients can join together online to share this moment at the IUPUI Elite 50 Virtual Award Banquet scheduled for Tuesday, April 6.
