Director of Reentry Services, Step-Up, Incorporated 

John P. Cocco is a licensed clinical social worker and Director of Reentry Services at Step-Up, Incorporated. He has worked in the field of mental health and substance use disorders since 2007 and has led the reentry services program at Step-Up since 2017. He is the chair of the Marion County Reentry Coalition and Secretary of the National Organization of Forensic Social Work. 

Amy Mackey, MD

Assistant professor of clinical medicine, IU School of Medicine 

Dr. Amy Mackey is an internist with Eskenazi Medical Group in Indianapolis, practicing primary care at the West 38th Street Health Center.  She received her MD from Indiana University in 2004, then completed her residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis in 2007.  She takes a special interest in serving an underserved population and engaging patients from many different cultures.   

Brooke Stevens, PharmD, BCPS, AAHIVP

Clinical Pharmacist – HIV/HCV 

Dr. Brooke N. Stevens is an HIV clinical pharmacist at the LifeCare Clinic at Methodist Hospital and The Ryan White Center for Pediatric Infectious Disease and Global Health at Riley Hospital for Children, both at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN. In addition, she works closely with providers at the Digestive and Liver Disorders Clinic at University Hospital and other smaller clinics to assist with obtaining and educating on hepatitis C treatment.


Dr. Stevens graduated from Butler University with her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2014. She then completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency and subsequently an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Infectious Diseases pharmacy residency, both at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN. She is credentialed as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties as well as an HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
