Biography
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. I earned my medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and my MPH with Epidemiology concentration from Indiana University.
My professional experience includes conducting data analyses for the Center for Outcomes Research in Surgery (CORES) within the Department of Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. In this role, I contribute to clinical outcomes research, particularly in surgical care, using observational healthcare data.
I am proficient in Stata and R. My methodological interests include observational study design, causal inference, real-world evidence (RWE) studies, and the design and analysis of clinical trials, including pragmatic clinical trials. My substantive research interests include cancer and chronic disease epidemiology and outcomes, clinical outcomes research, and health disparities.
