Commencement

The FSPH School Recognition Ceremony will take place at the Indiana Convention Center, Hall K. Students will need to report to the robing room 133, at 2:00 p.m. and then proceed to rooms 130-132 to line up in alphabetical order by degree.

Academic regalia (cap & gown) is required. Please leave personal items such as purses with a family member or friend. There will not be a designated area to store personal items.

The processional will begin at 3:00 p.m. Please pay attention to the line you are in due to Law School processing at the same time. The program will begin immediately after the processional.

The ceremony is expected to last approximately two hours. After the program marshalls will guide students to the stage where names will be called. Master's and doctoral students will be hooded. Your photo will be taken after exiting the stage.

Students will report to robing room 133 then line up alphabetically by degree in room 130-132. All graduating students will have their names read as they walk across the stage. Master's and PhD degree candidates will also be hooded.

Diplomas will not be distributed at commencement. Diplomas will be printed after commencement and the printer will mail them to the student home address approximately at the end of June or early July.

Professional photographs will be taken of each degree candidate at IUPUI Commencement. You’ll receive detailed instructions and an identification card in the robing area.

The number of guests students may invite is not restricted and tickets are not required. The doors to the room will not open until 2:00 p.m.

The Convention Center does not have designated parking; however, parking is available in several lots and garages in the downtown area: The Capitol Commons Garage, Plaza Park Garage, World Wonders Garage, and Pan Am Plaza Garage. Downtown parking map.
