The Ken and Cindy Stella Scholarship Fund in Health Administration honors the Stellas for their contributions to the work of Indiana hospitals. Established to honor Mr. Stella upon his retirement as president of the Indiana Hospital Association (IHA), Stella Scholarships have benefited outstanding MHA students since 2007 through this partnership with the IHA.
The scholarship offers financial support for students in the graduate program in health administration at Indiana University Indianapolis in the amount of $20,000. This generous opportunity for financial support is offered to entering MHA students at the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health.
First-year MHA students who meet or exceed the minimum 3.0 GPA requirement for the Stella Scholarship are invited to complete the application below by midnight on August 30, 2026 for consideration by the review committee.
The Stella Scholarship recipient will be notified in mid-September and honored in person at the Indiana Hospital Association Awards Ceremony during the IHA Annual Meeting October 6, 2026 at The Westin Indianapolis.
