Thanks to the generous support of alumni and the Dean’s Advisory Council, the Fairbanks School of Public Health offers unpaid internship stipends of $500–$1,000.
The Fairbanks School recognizes that internships are essential experiential learning opportunities that foster our students’ academic growth and career readiness. These funds are designed to help reduce financial barriers to accessing those experiences by offsetting expenses incurred while completing an unpaid internship for academic credit.
Up to two stipends are awarded each semester to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Health Administration (BSHA) or Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) programs at either IU Indianapolis or IU Fort Wayne.
Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need.
