Each year the Fairbanks School of Public Health awards the IU Trustees Teaching Award for excellence in teaching. A faculty committee reviews nominees and makes award recommendations to the Dean of the Fairbanks School of Public Health.

Eligibility
To be considered, a faculty member must be full-time, tenure or non-tenure track. They need to have completed at least three years of full-time service at the rank of lecturer or higher at the institution. Previous award winners are not eligible for two years after receiving the award.
Nominations for the 2025 award will open on January 1, 2026.
